After PTI postponed Long March till 4th October, there was no choice for Pakistan Government to re-open all closed roads. One estimate of renting containers, police movement and using other heavy machinery may cost 1billion PKR. Pakistan at this stage, where on one end fighting with Terrorists and on other side using such big amount just to stop protestors is un affordable.
C PAC routes joining Islamabad motorways are also open, Authorities said that re-opening of roads are underway. GT Road is open now too for all kind of traffic. All these roads were closed before for unlimited period of time.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi decision to postpone long march 1 week was a surprise to all. This decision is proving worthy as Government has to open roads and in few days if PTI start marching they have to close all roads again.
