The Lahore Arts Council, known as Alhamra, has signed an agreement with the University of Engineering and Technology’s Al-Khwarizmi Institute of Computer Science to promote the integration of technology with culture, literature and the arts.
Executive Director Muhammad Nawaz Gondal and institute head Dr Shehzad Asif signed the memorandum at a ceremony in Lahore. The partnership aims to open new opportunities for creative expression in the digital age.
The agreement covers knowledge sharing, joint programmes, collaborative projects and initiatives aimed at young people. Both sides said the collaboration would help connect the cultural sector with the digital landscape and encourage innovation.
Under the partnership, the institutions will work together on academic and artistic initiatives that explore how technology and creativity intersect. Officials from both organisations attended the signing ceremony.
