Where to apply
Online portal

Turkiye issues an e-Visa online to Pakistani passport holders travelling for tourism or business, one of the most straightforward visas available to Pakistani travellers.

What it allows

A stay of up to 30 days, single entry, for tourism or business. It does not permit employment or long-term residence.

Applying

The application is entirely online, through the official e-Visa portal, and normally takes minutes rather than days. You will need a passport valid for at least 150 days beyond your visit and a payment card for the fee.

A caution worth stating plainly

Apply only through the official government portal. Third-party websites that charge a large markup for the same e-Visa are common, and some collect payment without ever issuing a genuine visa. The official portal is the only source this guide points to.

How to apply

  1. Check eligibility on the official portal Confirm a Pakistani passport qualifies for the e-Visa category you intend to use.
  2. Complete the online form Passport and travel details, on the official government e-Visa website only.
  3. Pay by card The fee is paid immediately online.
  4. Download and print the e-Visa Issued within minutes in normal circumstances. Carry a printed copy when you travel.
Common reasons applications are refused
  • A passport with less than 150 days of validity remaining
  • Applying through an unofficial third-party website with incorrect details
  • A mismatch between the passport used to apply and the one presented at the border

Frequently asked questions

Can I apply without a bank statement?
No. Proof of funds is required for every applicant.
Can I use the e-Visa for transit only?
The e-Visa is for tourism and business entry, not specifically for transit. Anyone only transiting through a Turkish airport without leaving the transit area should check the airline and airports own rules instead.
