Anthropic is now expected to begin marketing its initial public offering in mid-October at the earliest, with the listing targeted for days before the US midterm elections in November. The artificial intelligence company had previously been expected to file its IPO prospectus as early as the following week, but that step has now been moved to late September. The delay pushes back what some investors believe could become a two trillion dollar listing, potentially ranking among the largest IPOs ever attempted and serving as a significant test of public appetite for the rapidly expanding artificial intelligence sector. The company is also working to finalise a fifteen billion dollar revolving credit facility as part of its preparation. Companies frequently adjust their IPO schedules as they navigate market conditions, regulatory requirements, and other preparations.
