The Islamabad High Court has issued notices to the federal government and other respondents in litigation over the privatisation of Pakistan International Airlines, ordering them to submit reports and detailed comments within two weeks. Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir made the direction after hearing arguments on a petition filed by the Peoples Unity of PIA Employees. The petition challenges both the bidding process held in December 2025 and the decision to award the contract to the Arif Habib Consortium.
