Inter Milan rallied from two goals down to defeat Napoli 3-2 with a last-minute strike from Lautaro Martinez in a Serie A match on Saturday. Napoli took the lead through goals by Matteo Politano and Rasmus Hojlund before Inter scored through Martinez and Marcus Thuram to level the match. Martinez then secured the win in the 91st minute after Napoli failed to clear the ball from the penalty area. Inter coach Cristian Chivu praised the entertaining nature of the contest. In Rome, Roma also staged a late comeback against Atalanta, scoring twice in the final minutes through Mario Hermoso and Matias Soule to win 2-1. Ederson had given Atalanta the lead early in the second half, but Roma dominated possession without finding the breakthrough until the closing stages. Both Inter and Roma now sit joint-top of the Serie A standings with nine points from three matches. Atalanta have six points while Napoli have three. Inter will face Real Madrid in the Champions League next week, while Roma prepare to play Fenerbahce.
