Retired Lt Gen Nauman Mehmood is chosen as first Secretory General of Makkah Defence Alliance. Bwtween the three parties it was decided that a Pakistani should be the 1st to ru this role.
His experience as Chief Instructor for years give him upper hand to get experience in military strategy and operational planing. His first task would be to build institutional machinery by coordinating with all three parties.
His north Wazirstan deployment as Major General also give his career a boost, as Pakistan was fighting terrorists and ruining anti terrorist operations. He got office as Analysis Directorate in ISI as Director General, a shift from battle to analysis. His experience in different fields made him a suitable candidate for this new job.
