The cost of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs2,400 to reach Rs463,136 in the local market. The price for ten grams of 24-karat gold also went down by Rs2,058 to settle at Rs397,064. Meanwhile, ten grams of 22-karat gold decreased by Rs1,887 to end at Rs363,988.
In the international market, the price of gold per ounce fell by twenty-four dollars to reach four thousand four hundred six dollars. The association also noted a decline in silver prices both locally and globally.
Locally, the price of silver per tola reduced by Rs39 to stand at Rs7,059. Ten grams of silver saw a drop of Rs34 to finish at Rs6,051. Globally, silver per ounce decreased by 0.39 dollars to reach sixty-five dollars and eighty cents.
