Indian women on the streets as the rape cases makes headlines

Series of Rape caes makes headlines in Indian Media and university was closed due to the rising in women street movement. Supreme Court also lashes out on law enforcement agencies and said that they failed to enforce the law.

There were no petition filed for the recent rape cases, rather supreme courts of India takes “Suo motu cognisance”. The intervention by court came days after navy students of universities came out on streets to protest against this lawlessness.
