Is AI really overcoming Humanity? What is the Future of Human Force?

An artificial intelligence researcher form AI firm Anthropic quits the firm and feel genuinely frightened for Humanity. He said that the AI is advancing with such speed that in near future we all could die. We must slow down to avoid AI meeting AI in the future as it can take over the internet. Some says; “These will soon be superhuman systems that can hack anything, revolutionize any field overnight, and acquire real power and resources.”

Additionally, many people believe that it has negative impacts on the environment. In fact, a single prompt uses 5 drops to 2 tablespoons (~0.000085 gallons to 29 mL) of water per standard query. A typical mid-sized data center uses roughly 300,000 gallons per day. Whereas, data centers in the U.S. consume roughly 46 million to 600+ million gallons per day. Such a waste of natural resource.

Moreover, some people think it is helpful in many ways making their tasks easy but AI researchers themselves are worried for the future. We should not rely too much on AI and take the responsibility of performing minor tasks ourselves because if all the tasks are given to the AI then the question rises what will the Human Force do? Will there be any jobs left for human?. It is such a long debate. It requires a lot of research to talk about this matter. I hope the AI centers take the responsibility of regulating AI seriously and make the development safe.
