Lahore Investigation Police have successfully traced a girl who was abducted from the Ichhra area. The child was found in Gujranwala after a coordinated investigation effort. Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif had taken notice of the abduction and instructed authorities to secure the girl’s safe recovery. A special investigation team was assembled under the supervision of senior police officers and examined footage from more than 100 surveillance cameras across locations stretching from Lahore to Gujranwala. The team conducted multiple raids in their efforts to locate the missing child. The girl is currently safe at a welfare facility in Gujranwala and will be returned to her parents after the necessary legal procedures and court approval are completed.
