The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to postpone its planned Islamabad long march. The final announcement is still pending. The decision was taken during a meeting of PTI political committee in Peshawar, the sources. The new date is said to be 5th October 2026. The aim of the long march is to release Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan.
Additionally, the closed roads will remain closed but even if they are opened it will take time. You can keep following the news channels for traffic updates. Roads in twin cities are still open. Public is advised to move freely. Only universities are shifted to online classes but the schools are open in Twin cities.
