The Russian Embassy in Pakistan and Future Team Pakistan have agreed to expand youth exchanges and cultural cooperation between the two nations. Russian Ambassador Albert P. Khorev met with Future Team Pakistan leadership on Thursday to discuss preparations for the International Festival of Youth, set for September 11 to 17 in Yekaterinburg, Russia. Future Team Pakistan Chairman Danyal Hayat told the ambassador that over 10,000 applications came in from across Pakistan, with approximately 250 young people selected to represent the country at the festival. The selected youth will participate in various segments including creative industries, public administration, science and education, sports, entrepreneurship, media, digitalization and information technology. The ambassador praised the enthusiasm of Pakistani youth and emphasized the value of direct people-to-people contact in strengthening ties between the countries. The meeting also covered ways to enhance cultural and humanitarian dialogue between Moscow and Islamabad and to expand youth exchange programs across the Eurasian region.
