SpaceX’s Starship achieves yet another milestone as it complete orbit around earth. This time around Starship deployed real Starlinks satellites and completed reentry successfully. This was launch 14 of the Starship on which in total of 26 Starlinks were deployed.
Starship had engine issues right from the Main Engine Cut Off (MECO). The flight was ended 7 hours earlier than planned because engine issue. Last time both Starship and Booster were recovered successfully. This time both blasted upon touch down.
Starship deployed millions of worth Starlinks making its first revenue generating mission. When Starship’s one engine shutdown they inbounded that it would not be able to make it to the orbit, but later engineer confirmed that other engines can carry it to orbit. They tried to lit up the engines and Starship did in fact make it to the orbit and deployed payload.
